Biggest thing I notice when I multi-task while I eat is that there's no satisfaction. I'm still hungry even though I've consumed enough and the food seems to just disappear.

When I focus on my meal, I enjoy it more, feel more satisfied and my hunger is sated.

Many times, I get myself a snack while I'm working, I come back and start typing and the snack is gone without my being conscious of having consumed it. I hate that. I find I consume three times as much that way.
