Too many health and wellness experts warn their clients about emotional eating and overeating and then leave them hanging. You’ve read the books and articles that alert you to be aware of stress eating or comfort eating. They will tell you that using food to cope with feelings will lead to weight gain–but they never really tell you what to do about it.

“Not doing something” is not a strategy for success.

Emotional eating is a pattern that is best tackled step by step. It’s absolutely possible to create peace with food, but unfortunately, there is no magic pill that creates instant change.
