The path to overeating and emotional eating freedom is full of obstacles – but that’s okay.
Contrary to what our inner perfectionist tells us, life is full of obstacles. If you’re a smart, busy woman who wants to take her power back from overeating, I’m betting you encounter them just about everywhere.
A busy schedule, unexpected lunch meetings, late nights and sleep deprivation, or a menu with no healthy options on it – sometimes it feels like life is conspiring against your good intentions.
It’s important to remember that success doesn’t require perfection (whatever that is). You don’t need (and probably don’t want) every single step to go as planned, or every choice you make to be 100 percent “healthy” (again – whatever that means). What you probably want – crave – is to achieve your goal. Whether it’s to fit into your jeans again, dance without knee pain, finish a 5K, fall below some number on the scale, or wake up in the morning not thinking about what you will eat today.
Your goal doesn’t require PERFECT action, it simply requires CONTINUED action.
Whatever happened yesterday – or ten minutes ago – is over. Your mission is to decide who you will be, and how you will choose, act, and react now.
