In today’s tip I share what I consider the most critical ingredient in your recipe for success when it comes to taking control of emotional eating and creating peace with food. It may seem straightforward, but I’m still amazed how many smart women overlook this.
It’s not enough to know what you “should” do. It’s essential that you create an approach and a relationship with food that you’ll be able to implement and maintain in the midst of your unique and complicated life. Too often we twist ourselves up like pretzels, trying to make ourselves fit into someone else’s advice. Then we wonder why our new routine or habit didn’t last, why it felt so hard and unnatural, or why we burnt out and lost motivation.
